No WONDER…

they call it a winter WONDERland!

This girl was full of it today!

Wonder and delight was spouting out of every last inch of her this morning when she awakened to her first rememberable snowfall!!!

“It’s painted mama, it’s painted!”

“Yes, baby, God sure does some marvelous and wondermous work with His paintbrush on our land!”

You yub me yike daddy does??

Do you know how much your Abba, Daddy, Papa, Father loves you?

What if you did?

Would it change the whole wide world for you?

Would it cause you to fear less and trust and rest more?

Would everything else pale in comparison to it?

Would it cause you to step out in obedience to what He asked you to do more often, because you knew He would catch you even if you slipped and fell?

My tender two year old is learning all about her daddy’s love for her here on earth, and I pray it endears her heart to her heavenly Father’s deep and lavish love for her, one day too.

She’s been drawing comparative conclusions in that little amazing mind of hers and one of her favorite lines these days is…

mama: “Anna, I love you.”

Anna: “So much?”

mama: “SO much, honey.”

Anna: “Aw da time?”

mama: “All the time.”

Anna: “Yike daddy does?”

mama: “Yep baby, just like daddy does.”

Anna: “I yub you so much, aw da time, yike daddy does too.”DSC_0188

Can you tell what truths she’s been listening to and learning about, every day, all the time? Nothing else on earth really matters or compares to her daddy’s love for her. It all pales in comparison to that and brings her confidence to go forth into the budding new world around her.

Nuzzle up to your Abba Father. Every day. All the time.

Let Him get really close to your ear and listen to His loving whisperings, letting you know that He is your daddy and HE…

yubs you

so much

aw da time.

And I think just maybe, that all the other worrisome/difficult/scary/painstaking/fearful/challenging stuff will just fade away into the background as you soak in this truth of how much your Daddy loves you…

aw da time.

“How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!”

-1 John 3:1

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. We love because he first loved us.
