Eli, our head contractor, put it great one day. He said that he thinks it's great when my dad Jake, is out working with me because he validates me and makes me a more confident, competent builder. So here's to you dad, my validator, thanks for making me a better woman and a better builder at that!

"The Validator!" Move over Arnold, here comes the Validator. It sounds actually pretty cool when you say with kind of a hispanic accent and hold the "or" part. Like this: De VAL-i-day-toooooor. You know, kind of like Strong Bad on Homestarrunner.com when he says "TROGDOR, THE BURNINATOR!" Except Jake is definitely NOT a burninator. He, my friends, is "JAKE, THE VALIDATOR!"
